Hotels, Movie Sets, Restaurants and have an experienced sales team to

Please
beware of quasi suppliers who advertise too good to be true prices.
They are
not storing this thatch in the necessary climate controlled
environments that
are essential for the longevity of the thatch. The problem is that when
you
first install it you will not know the difference and in just a short
while you
will begin to see its deterioration. The extra dollars you saved at the
beginning could cost you hundreds in the long run. So make sure that
one, the
thatch 'company' has an actual brick and mortar establishment because
if they
do not, chances are that they are storing these products either in a
humid
garage or storage unit and two, make sure that the 'company' has it in
stock
and is not offering you something today at a low price with a 'promise'
to
deliver on a future date.
How
to calculate square feet needed for your thatch project:
Our thatching is 30" x 60 feet long so that
would give you 150 sq feet per roll. It is recommended however that you
use a
6" overlap when installing so that would leave you with approximately
120sq feet per roll. This thatch is hand woven on one side and fringed
on the
other.
What
is the thatch Grade? Sometimes
within the industry we refer to thatch as commercial grade, theme
park
grade or many other variances. The important thing to remember is that
it is not all the same exact grade. We use
experienced weavers,
quality palms, climate-controlled storage, criteria to ensure the thatch meets the quality
and specifications our customers want. This can
make a difference in
your thatch lasting 1 year to 5 years. Our Premium Quality Thatch™ is a well-made product.
Layers and Cutting:
It
is quite easy to cut in either direction when necessary. We recommend
that you
place two layers in order to give to the appropriate thickness for
waterproofing and aesthetic appeal. The life span of thatch is 3-6
years and
thrives
in dryer desert climates. It is recommended that you purchase from a
well-established
company as ours to insure the proper climate control during the pre
storage of
the product.

- The life span of palm leaf
thatch is approximately 3-6 years in wet humid climates,
and 3-6 years in warm dry climates.
- Each of our thatching have been
carefully woven and will have subtle differences from the one displayed
in the photograph. Rrange can be from 57' to 60' in length depending on
how tight the thatch is woven. Roof thatchers should consider
purchasing or ensure they have a ladder, staple gun, wire, and
calculate enough square feet for two layers. If you are making your own
palapa structure or tiki hut you may also need a rope to secure your
ladder. If you need to reach parts of your tiki hut or thatch
roof that are 12' you will need an 8'.. Other wise a 6 feet ladder
words well on most tiki bars and projects. If at any time in your
