If you have enough time on your hands, you can build a Tiki bar on your own. For starters, you will need the lumber that you will use to build the structure of the Tiki bar. You would likely need to purchase the lumber from a lumber yard or home improvement store. Once you have purchased and cut the lumber, you can begin to build your Tiki bar. You do not, however, want to build a Tiki bar that has a wood surface where the drinks will be served. If your guests spill drinks, you may have a hard time cleaning them off the wood surface over time. Instead, you may want to put down a laminated sheet, piece of plastic, or solid surface such as stone on top of the Tiki bar that you build.
